About

Each session is devoted to expanding the caregiver’s skill-set for connecting with and supporting the child through touch and play.  Observation skills and methods of interaction are taught that feed infants with rich sensory information and opportunities to grow: to move with ease and joy, to express and assist themselves, and to connect meaningfully with the people and things around them.

Baby Blossom lessons focus on increasing each baby’s abilities and aiding them to move with as much ease as possible, allowing for a fluid and complete progression from stage to stage and from one milestone to the next.

Natalie completed the Child'Space NY1 Training Program in October of 2014. She pairs longstanding interests and engagement in child development and education with a professional background in contemporary dance and massage therapy.

In addition to the joy of working with babies, she connects with Child'Space in particular because of the respect for children and their caretakers that is inherent in the method.

In 2018 Natalie completed a six-month Community Counselor Course with the Southern California Counseling Center, as well as the Postpartum Support International Certificate Training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders in order to better support families struggling after childbirth.

Natalie has worked as a mental health advocate in San Luis Obispo County middle and high schools, and is California state certified as an advocate for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

She is profoundly grateful for her exposure to various somatic practices via her mother, Irene Bowers, a Guild Certified Feldenkrais PractitionerCM and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner. Irene has shared her explorations in movement with Natalie throughout her life, encouraged her own studies, and always modeled a loving touch.

Natalie is fluent in both English and German.
